Organisational Performance

The Council Performance Report (CPR) demonstrates how the Council is performing.  This is against the agreed measures of success which are illustrated within our the Business Plan. The performance report is reviewed by Cabinet every quarter.

The four key areas reported on are:

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Strategic performance indicators (with KPI explanations). These show how the Council is performing against the business priorities.
  • Strategic Projects
Summaries on the progress of strategic projects at a moment in time.
  • Finance
Details of our financial position at the end of each quarter including progress against the Medium Term Financial Plan.
  • Strategic Risks
Information about the position of the Council's strategic risks. (These are high level long-term exposures). Also includes any mitigating actions.

As we move towards a more Outcome Based Framework for the council, we now report on cross-cutting workstreams across the council. We report these through 'interventions'.

To see what we report on, you can view our Outcome Delivery Plans.

In Quarter 2 2021/22 the Council Performance Report changed the way it was reported. Promoting our transparency and inclusion vision, the report was  previously a PDF. Now you can view our performance through an interactive dashboard.  This was done to enhance the transparency of our performance reporting. To access the dashboard, please review the relevant papers below. You will find the link embedded within the covering paper below.
